With over a decade of experience in both general and special education, I believe that every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of diverse abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles, and I’ve learned that meaningful growth begins with connection, trust, and an understanding of each child’s unique strengths.

I founded Rooted & Rising Learning Collective with a simple belief: education should nurture the whole child, not just academic achievement. My approach combines individualized, engaging instruction with opportunities to build confidence, resilience, independence, and social-emotional skills. Whether we are strengthening foundational skills, overcoming academic challenges, or celebrating small victories, I strive to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where every learner feels capable and valued.

At Rooted & Rising, I believe that when children are rooted in confidence, connection, and strong foundations, they are empowered to rise toward their fullest potential.
